Mister International, is an annual male international beauty pageant. It is ranked 3rd among the big four male pageants in the world, which include Manhunt International, Mister World and Men Universe Model.  It is not to be confused with the defunct Mister International, with the abbreviated M R form of mister in the name.

The competition is run by The Mister International Organization since 2006 in Singapore, with Alan Sim as its president. The same organization also manages the annual Mister Singapore pageant.  The winner of Mister International traditionally, lives in Singapore for the duration of his reign.

Mister International has among the larget number of national level competitions. Eighty countries have so far sent representatives, since the first year of the pageant. The contest has an annual average participation of thirty eight per edition. The contestants are judged in three categories: swimwear, evening wear and interview as they vie for the title of Mister International.

The Mister International Organization seeks to empower men, to develop the confidence they need to achieve their personal, professional, and philanthropical best, as inspirational leaders and role models. It was held yearly except for the years 2019 and 2020 when the staging were cancelled due to the outbreak of Covid 19. Between 2006 and 2020, the Mister International Title was awarded thirteen times.

We are about to begin with our Annual Winners List, but please take note that in this listing, we are only taking into account, the pageant year, the pageant winner, the country of origin, the continent the country belongs to, the place the contest was held, and the number of countries who participated that year. No ranking was given for runner up positions.

That said, we begin with 2006.  Wissam Hanna of Lebanon, snatched the title of Mister International in the first edition of the pageant. The contest was held in Singapore, and nineteen countries participated.

The next year 2007, Brazil’s Alan Bianco Martini emerged the winner. The contest was held in Kuching, Malaysia, and seventeen countries joined.

In 2017, Seung Hwan Lee of South Korea, bagged the title. The pageant was held in Yangon, Myanmar and thirty six countries came to compete.

Finally in 2018, Thrin Van Bao was adjudged the winner, the second win for his country Vietnam. It was held, also the for second time in Manila, Philippines, with thirty nine official candidates.

As of 2020, the Mister International title has been awarded thirteen times since its inception in 2006. Nine countries have received the title. As you can see on this vertical chart, certain countries have been honored more than once.  Vietnam and Brazil won twice while Lebanon was the winningest country, making it to the Winners List three times.
We have divided the countries into five continents namely Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe and Oceania. Using the data set from 2006 to 2020, it appears that all winners came from three continents which are Asia, Americas and Europe. Of the thirteen winners, seven are from Asia, four from Americas, and two from Europe. We have yet to see a winner coming from Africa and Oceania.
This chart illustrates that the Mister International pageant is more inclined towards Asian candidates. Whereas Men Universe Model pageant is greatly inclined towards candidates from the Americas.
